I went sailing today and I didn't get attacked by a shark, again. That's the ninth time this year. A pattern is beginning to emerge.

So what if the sharks don't like me. Ma mum does.

I've had enough. We must take some action - I think everyone who didn't get attacked by a shark sailing in the last year needs to email their local member and petition for something more to be done. Those fat cats in Canberra idly sit by letting these monsters of the deep get away with this. It's crazy I tell you.

PS- I am an idiot mate.

When I was surfing last year a shark swam right past me and didn't even acknowledge me, it gets me so angry.

I've even been watching really educational shark documentaries like Dark Waters, Shark Hunter, Deep Blue Sea, Jaws I to IV, Devil Fish, The Death of Jaws, Shark Zone, Shark Attack I to III and Up From the Depths. I just can't believe I haven't been attacked yet, it's so disappointing. From the material I have studied I believe the odds of shark attack are 100% if you enter the ocean, 10% from walking on the beach and you even have 5% chance of getting attacked by a shark while flying a helicopter. These beasts are out of control.

My dog attacked another dog on the beach yesterday while I was setting up. He won.

This is the fourth fight he has had with this dog but the first time he has attacked.

There were no sharks in evidence.

They were mosquitoes Richie not sharks.
Sharks have four legs and thick brown fur.

I thought I was attacked by a shark walking down the street some years back, but it turned out to be a bunch of teenagers.

Scenario 1.
An (attractive) woman walks down the street and doesnt get attacked by a rare spotted Pit Bull. The Police do everything in their restricted powers to try and get the dog to nip, but he's more interested in peeing on trees.

Animals everywhere are appearing to go about their business and not doing what they should to allow us to kill 'em.
Something should be done about this!

very good point
ive been in the water my whole life and i havent even been checked out by one
i dived with them a couple times but not even a flutter of liking me
i tried sending the right signals: the smell of fear, bag full of fish tied to my waist, even the grey wetsuit and flippers "sigh" maybe i'll spend the rest of my life without even a nibble

the guy who was bitten at fingal last week came into our shop on the goldy today and his wound was massive like knee to buttock crescent shaped gash and he was walking on crutches looking for a new pair of thongs, what a legend! saying he was looking forward to going surfing again.

great attitude, really nice guy.

Sharks sharks sharks, that's all anyone worries about these days. What about the ants, I say. That's right, ANTS!. One of the little buggers put me in hospital today. (Jackjumper ant - they kill more people than sharks)
But I survived to sail another day.

I thought you were joking.... but wiki tells me otherwise

"jack jumper ants cause more deaths in Tasmania than spiders, snakes, wasps, and sharks combined"

I stayed in Tassie for 6 months last year and didn't get attacked. Mustn't like the Scottish Blood. The mossies do though!! Ah well off for a surf on the North Coast (of Scotland) today need to wear such thick rubber here that the sharks (if there was any) would think they had scored a bit of chewing gum! See you guys back in Tassie soon x
