Here we go again :D

Asshats on bikes block traffic and play silly buggers with cars, got a very small taste of what they deserve. Sounds like they hit like little girls too.

I'd like to know why they started swarming around the range rover and why the dumb f* wanted to prove his brakes were better than the rangie from 2 feet out front of it. Then the typical dumb-arse mob mentality kicks in.

They are stuntas. They're cooler than you so they deserve to shut the whole highway down so they can ride their stolen bikes around, breaking the law and stuff.

What a bunch of pricks. Including the range rover driver. Although one can't blame him for doing what he did....

Supposedly just prior to the start of this video the Range Rover had clipped one of the bikers, and they started swarming on him. Looks like he freaked (understandably) and just wanted to get out of there before him and his whole family got killed.

Would be pretty scary being chased by an angry mob of bikers (especially in the states with all the guns around). I guess bikers anywhere will probably be carrying weapons though.

Glad that no one was killed, but otherwise the bikers deserved every bit they got. Pack of $$$$holes suffering the consequences of their own actions. I'm a bike rider, and at times I've wanted to do exactly the same thing.

One of the bikers was a policeman off duty and stood by and watched the driver get beat up.

nypost.com/2013/10/04/undercover-cop-stood-by-as-bikers-beat-dad/

Several bikers have been charged with assault and other related charges. What a suprise, they have previous rap sheets that include theft and illegal possession of guns and drugs.

Story was they wanted to a Bike only ride and had blocked of all cars. The RR pushed his way through and the bike guys ( i wont call them bikers) chased him down. He then said he feared for his life so he ran over the bike. Apparently paralysing him..

He was then chased pulled out of car and beat senseless. I notice they stopped filming then.. Last i heard was he was also paralysed from his beating

The whole lot a bunch of arse clowns IMHO

Not in New York! Handguns are for all intents prohibited there- [we need a sarcasm smiley]
You need to be very well connected to get a handgun license over there,
But as usual- laws only apply to the law abiding.

One of the bikers is being charged with assault with a weapon [among other things]- seems he used his helmet to break into the car and beat up the driver.

His lawyers are complaining that its an unfair charge- as a helmet is not a weapon.....maybe someone should swing a helmet at the lawyers head a few times and see if his opinion changes.

According to the NYPD statement this mob have a regular ride that takes place- but they are illegally blocking off the highway and its on-ramps so they can have it all to themselves to play silly buggers.

The Range Rover didnt plan to be stuck in the mob- they caught up with him and were trying to stop him by getting in his way and slowing down.
It backfired badly on the bike rider when he hit the brakes too hard while too close to the Rangie.

At least 1 biker badly injured and paralysed, and the rangie driver has superficial injuries only.
Last I heard, the NYPD dont plan on charging the Rangie driver with anything.

Best thing about all this is the biker that had the film of it all happening did the right thing and handed his camera over without any deleted scenes.
Without the film the car driver would have been in for a huge legal battle.

Wooow simmer down knuckle heads.

What are you supposed to do after an accident?
What did the range rover do?
What did the bikers try and make him do?

Obviously the bikers were in the wrong towards the end... but that's what happens when you get more than a dozen men together. 1 potential alpha male takes the lead in pseudo protect the clan role, while deputy alphas follow his lead.

I saw it on discover or NG.

BTW: I was asking questions.

Well you're gona get farked if you try that against > than a dozen bikers... they can outrun you and all they have to do is wait until you come to a stop.

Proper course of action:

1.- Stop lock the doors.
2.- Call the cops.
3.- Wait for them to arrive and sort the situation out.

If they attempt to break the windows, take flight... rover windows were fine, until the end.

They probably would have smashed his windows and bashed him if he stayed there anyway. He was only delaying the inevitable by driving off.. You can't tell from the video, but i'm guessing the guy in the 4wd was threatened, panicked, and decided to get out of there as quickly as possible.
He is an idiot for for trying to be a hero in his range rover and pissing off what looked like 50+ more idiots on motor bikes.

Alright, as a biker, I've been following this closely. A lot of what is written here is crap.

First off, the reason the range rover had the first incident was because a biker pulled in front of him and then slammed on brakes (brake checked) him on purpose. This guy has already been charged by police as the instigator of the whole incident. The range rover driver clipped the guy and all the bikers stopped and swarmed the car. The guy stopped originally but was with his wife and kid and when the swarmed the car, he panicked. As a biker, if I was with my wife and kid and 50+ bikers surrounded the car, I also would have left. They claimed the guys started slashing tyres and you can see one of the tyres are already flat when he goes over the bike but you don't know whether this was because of the bike.

After that, they chased him down, tried to pull him from the car at the first stop, carried on chasing him and then pulled him from the car and kicked the crap out of him including stomping on his head before bystanders intervened and saved him.

Driver of car has not been charged and I don't see him being charged because of how the bikers reacted. Plenty had rap sheets, the guy who was run over didn't even have a bike license.

btw.. The Police have withdrawn that charge.. I think with the intent to bring on much bigger charges.

Woulda done the same, but woulda stayed on the highway and called the p*gs to assist.
Then let the courts decide who's right and wrong.
Why did he even leave the highway ?

There was a bit on TV the other day on this 'phenomenon' - there are more instances of incidents caused by those packs of idiots blocking the way and breaking in front of cars.

9th biker arrested, had 18 previous arrests.
Off-duty police amongst the riders.

The guy who smashed the window had 21 prior arrests.
Seems to be a nice guy though.

The guy who was run over goes: "they are not thugs, they are just everyday people." (speaking of the riders).

I guess that's the end of this story - most of them in court now...
