Seabreeze / Lauries new Graph format Suggestions

The new format is SO SO, im finding the arrows to be to fat and somewhat less accurate to look at .But the scale change is good and the brown arrows over 35 knots is a good introduction/ With out overdoing it. BUT,there may be scope for a forth colour for say glass offs / light and variable .

I also find the gaps between arrows on the days real time wind display to be very open making it look less accurate and linked , Nothing better than seeing solid green and a refined accurate graph, illestrating variations in wind strengh / direction from your days action on the water

Funny how when you really look on the original wind graphs,the arrows have variations in width of them. Does this mean any thing laurie

Try making the arrows twice as tight as the original and linked like a snake /dragon tail.

Must be having a dry spell... Either that or the police are cracking down again...

It's possibly like the new forum design - I didn't get it...until I viewed it on my phone - much better. The new graphs are a bit 'cartoony' for me - but that's just me being picky - I'm sure I can survive with either also.

With charts like that we are all going to loose our investment in boards and sails
beside reminds me another day at work

Too detailed, don't need the swell to two decimal places and the tide to three. Also agree with Sailhack, the colours are too "cartoony".

Ironically, the colours are identical to the original, just the border is less black.

Not following this .. fatter arrows reduce the gaps, yet you're saying there's more gaps? Are you referring to the live wind, or the forecasts?



Too much accuracy is a bad thing? I agree, it could be less. But to 10cm intervals is not such a bad thing. I've been grounded on a catermeran at Shark Bay for hours waiting for the tide to lift 5cm so we could get out.... .. it taught me to respect that a 10cm difference in tide is a big thing!

Just an artifact of a "not as accurate as the current rendering system", which is again, somewhat ironic!

Anybody else experiencing something odd (with the graphs), let me know ..

Forgot to add: 1cm is good eg:0.95M but to the mm eg: 0.952M is too much.

Referring to live wind........big gaps between the NEW fat arrows makes it look like the wind is gusty in comparison to the old graph format of tight solid green, its just less accurate to look at. This also goes for variations in direction as well.

The forcast fatter arrows seem to do the same even though there linked it makes it appear more as a blob / cartoony a little less easy to see the predicted direction and changes forcasted

There was nothing better to see than solid Green thin sharp spear like arrows linked with no gaps snaking across the page
