So there I am, enjoying not having to go to work and listening to a presentation from Bankwest's Chief Technology Officer when up pops a Seabreeze graph on his presentation. Classic!

Turns out he's a sailor and uses the site regularly.

He was trying to make a point about Agile planning practices - only ever do just enough planning, don't plan too far ahead when uncertainty is high.

He had a big arrow pointing at the 7th day as an illustration of this concept

Everybody knows the opposite is far more likely for the forecast in 7 days. Thus you can plan accordingly with very high certainty.
