Search for ORION 3. 23ft WARATAH twin keel yacht.

I'm here to try and locate a yacht built by my grandfather in the 70's. Originally a 21ft'r designed by DENNIS KNIGHT (RIP) in Gosford N.S.W in the late 60's. Between 1972 and '74 my 'opa' (HENDRIKUS APPELDOORN) built a 23ft waratah twin bilge keel masthead sloop in hIs backyard in Thurlstane Tasmania. He sold it in the late 70's and the new owner sailed it to King island. Last I heard from relatives she fell into disrepair, unfortunatelly thats all I know. Using original photo's depicting the construction, I have uploaded a video to YOUTUBE in an effort to track the yacht down and see it with my own eye's. Find it here

My opa died in '89 when I was only 12 so I never had the chance to talk about the yacht with him. My opa named it ORION 3.
