Looks like a whaling ship?. Think mother nature should of taken the oppotunity to YAN.![]()
Fire pump port and starboard. Could be a fire ship or rig support vessel. British accents too. Not a whaler.
its warm and comfy on the bridge and they sipping tea.
but someone gotta go outside and pull that bloody whale up on da deck

Also a very high bow. Defiantly not a whaler..But loved the money shot..![]()
Big seas have a certain way of making us all feel very insignificant in life's bigger picture IMHO![]()

Russian video. I expected a passenger car full of Vodka loaded Ruskies to come arcing through the air at some point.
Awesome seamanship. Zero workplace safety though. I think that's a trawler too btw. Not too sure whalers pull up their catch in nets.

Fire pumps to keep Green Peace at bay maybe ?
My Guess Oil rig support.

Tarred with the same red brush as the Nella Dan.

A few years back, I spent some time in the southern ocean on the Aurora Australis
We had a big storm hit and were hove to for ~30+hours in an 8000tonne ice breaker.
Had a few big green wave break over the bow and then up and over the bridge. After around 15hours the novelty was gone - a fellow expeditioner was seasick for the majority of the time - spent around 20hours with a drip in her arm.
