Just wondering if anyone has any idea as to if Snapper would still be on the bite? I have heard they are more predominant during the winter months but i have seen fishing reports of snapper catches. I am thinking of heading out to the rockwall at the port of Brisbane tomorrow evening. Any thoughts or suggestions would we welcomed.

Cheers

the port wall is a great starting point. Use burley & bait after dark. Pillys or squid. The best bite times are dawn & dusk, use sp's & hb's at these times also. Bit easier to fish dusk these days......

Legal size in qld is 35cm.

Good luck.

Thanks mate!!! I'm familiar with most of that. Burleying is an ideal suggestion though...would they still be on the chew in the warmer months????

They are there all year round. We caught a 53cm model there last weekend. Lots of cod around too.......
