get into Google Earth interactive maps and bring up operating australian mines
look close at what disturbances to the ground is around actual mine sites
add gem stones and gas and oil search, farming and one starts to realise
that there is nowhere in australia that man has not been and left his mark
we use basically very little it all goes overseas, when it winds down we will have nothing
at all left and the land will be like Mars.....
