OMG.
Just watched this movie for the second time, it happened to be on TV last night. The last time I saw it was around 30 years ago when I was in my early teens. What a beautiful Australian movie.
I think Mr. Percival died only recently. Late last year I think.
You used to be able to visit him at the Adelaide zoo.
It made the national news. Not bad for a pelican.
