I've got a 15hp Parsun (Chinese, but good Chinese!!
) 2 stroke short leg outboard.
Just got a new (2nd had) tinny with a hull that's a bit too deep for the current outboard and now need a long leg.
It's a long shot but I don't suppose anyone's got something similar on a long leg and with the reverse issue to me (i.e. hull to shallow) and wants to swap?
Alternatively, is there a trick to make the short leg work on this new boat? The hull looks to be only about 1/2 a prop too deep.
Thanks.

you can cut the transom down, but its a shame to do for a parsun

You haven't seen the tinny ![]()
But I'm a bit skeptical about cutting the transom down. There's a piece of c-section channel that runs to perimeter of the top that I'd have to cut through. I'm no engineer, but it looks structural to me.

Nothing a half tard and a mig cant do, or take to a al welder with 2 cartons of cold beer in the boat and wear ur short shorts...
