No, the iphone doesn't have a tv chip in it so the only option is streaming content over the interweb. No Australian TV channels stream content over the web.

I think the closest you'd get to watching live tv on your iphone is with another piece of equipment like this: www.elgato.com/en but I couldn't imagine that it would be very good over 3G.
The abc also has an iphone app but it's just recorded content.
