I wonder if he realises the car is in fact the very rare "shrunken El Camino" and he could ask more...

They are one kick ass vehicle. That thing looks clean.
Although I think they are ugly as our prime minister there is no reason why that would not get 5k.

Like an old 2 stroke Suzuki - they just keep going and judging by looks alone it will outlast this years Holden and Ford range in the years to come..

He forgot to mention if it has been inspected and approved by the hounds from mechanical hell, ie does it come with a roadworthy certificate.

The car is a Brumby (if you know what that is) and it sounds like the current owner is too.

Poetic but not convincing without an RWC.

Just sold my daughter's 96 Corolla Seca today (with 350k on the clock) for $2,600.

What made the sale was 6 months rego and most importantly the RWC.

What good is a car without an RWC???

I am really chuffed about the sale because it funds the brand new rig on my yacht.

P.S. Even though I bought it for her three years ago, she made me buy it from her so she would have enough deposit for a brand new Corolla.

The joys of being a parent. I made $700 on the deal.

RWC? It's in WA mate - we don't bother with that ****. Keep paying the rego and don't get pulled over and you can keep driving any old bucket of **** as long as you like.

Oh, and it's bugging me reading the title of this every time I look a the forums - it's "tell him he's dreaming".

Do you not have to get one in order to transfer rego. Have to in Qld.

Used to be, but not sure if it still is in NSW, that you have to put your car over the pits every 6 months.

Nope. Just sign the papers and as long as it stays registered there is nothing to worry about.

Meanwhile, what better stategey could this bloke use to sell his poxy old rusted out Brumby? (The rust is not apparent but no doubt in there if it has been used as a surfing vehicle.)

Everybody with a 4WD for sale says "It has never done any beach work!!!!!"
