Yeah how good was that, the guy is a freak.
It was a great game to watch, the umps put their whistles away and let them play, the scores were even at 3/4 time and the Cats looked a bit rattled but they came out in the last 1/4 and just clicked into gear to run away with it.
Loved the fact the Geelong supporters stood and applauded, however I think it is because they suspect they might be able to entice him back, I think they might be right.
That goal was sublime , really enjoyed watching the two masters Stevie J and Ablett. I still dont think he is as good as his Dad was though
The Suns are starting to believe , scary for the rest of the comp. Once they cull a few who are baggage and get another pre - season under the belt watch out. Gary wont be going anywhere , he can see a dynasty coming
The Gold Coast find themselves up against Melbourne and with most of the Golf Coast side suffering from food poisoning, Gary Ablett offers to play the team all on his own. At half-time whistle Ablett was already 60-0, with Gary getting 5 goals in each quarter. The rest of the team decided to head for the pub instead of watching the second half.
After the game Gary heads for the pub where he told his team mates the final score - 102-6
"What!!!!", said his furious team mates, "How did you let them get a goal??!" Gary replied apologetically, "Sorry guys, I took a knock to the head and I got stretchered off with 20 minutes to go"
