Am I unique here in thinking that today is pretty good and the best days are yet to come ?

Does everybody else think that the good old days were better and we are all doomed, doomed I tell you ?

From what people seem to think about next year's windsurfing equipment, the modern children's attitude to porn, money men suddenly screwing the planet, the New World order being new, boat people being the first migrants to have ever migrated and windsurfing being lost in antiquity you all sound like a bunch of whinging old farts.

Ohh how much better it was in my day, the youth of today, they don't know their born.

For frggs sake, chear up, smell the roses get on with it - today is great, learn from yesterday and embrace tomorrow, for it holds unlimited opportunities.

Well, actually the opportunities are limited if you live in NSW and would like to windsurf tomorrow.

Come to think of it it always used to be windy on 14th June back before it wasn't

Mmmmm maybe you all have a point

well said mate, a positive attitude is the only thing that will save you in the end.
But the dangers ahead are there, and you young guys need to be aware of them. Then they can be avoided.

Saying that, I think we're in a golden age now. It could get better or it could go downhill, it all depends on you,
I won't be here.

Me either. I'm not sure if that's good or bad.
I will give my final decision with my last gasp.

While I continue to draw breath there is hope for the world.

When I am gone it is all downhill and youse are on your own.

this morning was still and the water like glass; as i paddled the length of the beach, my shadow sending dozens of sandrays scattering on the floor below, two whales breached and hung full airbourne and graceful for what seemed an eternity before crashing with a thunderous splash back into the deep blue and gold flecked ocean.

chemtrails, satanists and powerbalance bracelets can never top that, nor can they take it away

when i could drop something under the table and it did not take a big effort to pick it up.

when i could play 3 different sports in the same day, wake up the next day with no aching legs.

when i could get hard.

when i could get to sleep easily and for more than a few hours at a time.

when i enjoyed a game of golf.

when i could pay my bills.

when i was ignorant as to what really goes on.

But when you are out there and see that you arnt even thinking about those other things and they become irrelevant. Saw an ad for the power balance bands in WAVES mag, how it made me laugh
