... and so are most of her govt. Google "Shaw vs Gillard" - it will open your eyes.

It really is time this stuff became mainstream news. Larry Pickering is no fading violet, yet I still read nothing of defamation suits over his public accusations of the highest govt member in the land.

1. We already did this.

2. Larry Pickering is a faded out washed-up one-eyed **** of a nobody who traded on a gimmick (pollies without clothes) and when that one horse bolted he tried becoming a scammer instead.

So, an affidavit lodged in the "Industrial Relations Court of Australia", countersigned by Rob McClelland the Attorney General Gillard sacked, not reputable enough for you? I always wanted to be clever like you. You know, so I never have to read anything but so I could know everything.

Jesus frikken Christ. At some point your going to have to accept that the government is an elected government and Gillard is the prime minister.

There's a nice beach down in Victoria I reckon Gillard should have a swim at - I think it's called Cheviot Beach. By all accounts a lovely beach and very safe for swimming so she won't need any flippers.

No no no! "We" will moan on about it until the other party gets in, and then rejoice about how suddenly everything is still the same...

So true. The situation in QLD should be a warning to all australia, but unfortunately that won't happen.

Campbell Newman gets elected in a whitewash, saying nothing about job cuts, or anything specific really.

6 months later he's given all his mates jobs, upped QLD pollies pay significantly (they're almost all from his party, LNP), approved a brand new building for himself, given $115 million to horse racing (Cronies) on the gold coast, then fired 20,000 people because the state is apparently broke.

Polls show he wouldn't win if there was an election tomorrow. More than that, he's quickly becoming hated by one and all. So many people wishing they didn't get caught up in the anti-Anna fever right now. So many people who know someone suddenly unemployed.

Kiteboy, if you ran a bankrupt business would you continue taking loans
to avoid firing your staff.Labor governments borrow excessively for
their stupid programs.Do we need faster internet to every house in the country? Maybe government hospitals and businesses need faster better
internet. The NBN will cause debt for several generations, higher taxes,
less money for other stupid labor programs. Then the carbon tax crap.
Still not clear how taxing us will save the planet, ask bob brown.

Yes! Yes we do. The NBN is a wonderful wonderful thing. A one off setup fee and we'll have light speed communication to every house. It will never be obsolete because you can't move anything faster than light.

The disappointing issue with elected members is they will say anything that they believe enhance his/her own agenda. Doesn't have anything to do with the truth at all.[}:)]

One drop kick actually claimed that due to boat people numbers, this is the reason cracks had shown in the Navy patrol boats structures around engine rooms.
This is the same drop kick that had a hand in ordering these boats.
It's a design flaw, nothing else can be used as blame. I am sure engineering will resolve it, but for goodness sake. Has to be bulltish artist of the week with that gob full.
Sadly gullible electors will believe crap like he sprouts.
Beginning to think the conservative side are just as dishonest now with all the latest malarkey they are sprouting. Just when I thought there was some light at the end of the tunnel too.

Yep well maybe we'll be able to teleport then, not need teev at all!

Seriously, if you're not sure about the NBN, fast forward 10-15 years, picture watching your 3D streaming pr0n on your floor to ceiling teev. You think mobile wireless is gonna handle that bandwidth?

I guess this shows a fundamental problem.

A country is not a business. It can't run like one, no matter how much you think it should.

If it was, would you just sell up to the highest bidder and settle somewhere else?

I'd rather be with her than John Howard, but you make your choice and I'll make mine

Since when should it matter what a prime minister looks like, or do you have a thing for Tony Abbot?

No real good choice between them to be made, Abbots no better in looks or brains

Dinsdale didn't make mention the the paperwork was lodged in1996. McClelland was not the attorney general at the time(I don't think he was in parliament at the time)

Hit the nail on the head....the Qld LNP experience is going to be repeated at a national level with the election of a No-alition gov't led by the Mad Monk....the number of promises he's going to break will be record breaking...of course, he'll probably go on about 'non-core' & 'core' promises like that rat faced fkr Howard or the Abbott will try & weasle his way out by saying the promises weren't in writing so he's got an out...

Regardless of one's political opinions, the nation is stuck with a quality of performance from both sides of the House that is just so, so disappointing....god I fear for the future.
