Yep I like James, big improvement. I also like the professional racing driver category. That'll get a bit competitive I'm sure.

JM's definitely a lot better than Mr Shouty but then he's been an entertainer for a lot longer.

If they don't try too hard then they're streets ahead of last years efforts

the best bit was bouncing stuff off the trampoline into the back of the car this week.

However the general banter in the studios felt too scripted and they are all a bit too "stiff" when on camera.
It's better, but it had better improve a lot more if its going to hold my attention.

Watched it for 10 minutes then turned it off. It can't compete with the UK version as that is absolute class.

It was pretty good. The shouty pom was alright but James is better. The pom's big problem was he came over as shouty when actually he is quite knowledgable and was a great race car driver. They need to do more sh!tbox challenges. Its quite entertaining watching them drive old cars around the place and having to keep them going. Aussie Top Gear could do it more often too and it wouldn't cost all that much either.

The best thing about the UK Top Gear are the challenges. Jet skis vs lambos is fine but really is it relevant to 99% of the population? How about driving from Canberra to Sydney vs catching a plane if they both start in Bankstown and have to get to parliament house with the plane people using public transport.

I know you lot like to blame us for everthing but I'm pretty sure that "the shouty one" is actually a Australian W**ker rather than an English one.

Myehh.. bored stoopid by the ever-annoying Jemery Plonkerface, in the UK show, so can't watch that much anymore and the Aussie twat cartoonist who fancies himself as commedian (and is certainly NOT) is waaaayyyyy worse!

Would be nice to actually have the focus a bit back to the cars - not so much the self adoration of the presenters I reckon.

Personally i think Steve Pizzati acts like he's trying to talk to very small children. Other than that, quite good. James is good. Glad the "what were they thinking" junk is gone. Still can't compete with the original

I can't believe they didn't show the "off" skaifey had in Melbourne when they talked about it as his scariest moment driving.

Nothing beats the vision looking back down the straight to see him sliding off the track sideways on two wheels
