All of which are at least 5 years ago...
Have I got a hope of getting in, or should I change my plans
i've heard I should b right on a thirty day visa cause they don't ask u !???

Any advice would b great

Mate you'll be sweet.stay off the drugs you can be locked up for years if found with one pill, I've just finished reading Hotel Kerobokan and its amazing how many people are locked up for years for something you would get a slap over the wrist
in Australia.
Its goes like this, you fill in the visa card during the flight, the plane lands, you pay 25 US entry fee,get your passport stamped collect your bags then the baggage check more like how can we make money fining people with too much duty free and that's it
your out of the airport.

Enjoy the trip

Ok sounds like your spooked, stay under the radar. take two boards max dont over do the duty free grog or smokes if you smoke.
They dont ask sh-t mate only how much duty free you have.

what about warrants issued for your arrest for not paying fines, not turning up to court ect ect.

Police freeze licences through spers in Qld. If you dont show up to court on numerous occasions then it can be iced by the AFP which intern means your passsport is flagged. Saying this when you try and leave or enter Australia the AFP will hold you at the airport and until its cleared by the state police, you won't be going anywhere!. Passports get flagged more than people think. Reason for this is to keep up to date records from immigration to police, AFP and other agencies. So what I'm getting at is they all share info. Lets say that the cops have no info on your whereabouts, your lying low and off the radar. So you have stuff outstanding and they can't catch you. 2 years usualy is the timeframe, then they employ other methods to get hold of you. Maybe immigration database? So when you go through immigration at the airport you put your address down on the departure card. Sweet. Your there live, your ID is confirmed as you are standing there and they know when your going and when your coming back. Your details are flagged and then it's pretty simple on how the rest works.

Why dont you just pay the fines?
