Hey everbody, I'm after some reviews for waterproof point and shoot cameras. I had a Olympus sw790, which got destroyed, I'm not keen on buying another, as it didn't take very good night shots. Any recomendations?

Out of interest - what happened to your Olympus?

I recently bought an Olympus MJU 8000 Tough for a trip to the whitsundays.
10 metre waterproof. 12 megapixel. 3.6x optical zoom.
It takes super clear photos, underwater or not. It compensates for ligh levels really well and good auto focus features. Also comes with a pretty easy to use editing program.
Good camera

my mate, mr clueless was in the surf with it, and was wondering what all the buttons did,
progressing through all of them, till he found the usb connector ! opened it
and wooshka, there goes the camera.

I had a Olympus sw725, but the missus lost it last week. I thought it was a great camera.

I'm looking forward to santa bringing me the tough 8000

I've got the Olympus sw795 2 years old now, good all round camera but night and indoor photo's are very ordinary. There is almost always some water droplets inside the covers when I open them but so far there hasn't been a problem.
