I am trying to find a decent weather station(wind speed/direction, temp etc) connectable to lap top for recordable data. Some thing fairly robust not too pricey. Any ideas?

I helped set up a weather station for my workplace. We got it from the same shop as above. Its this model:

It has worked well for the year and a half we've had it and the web interface of Weather Display Live is excellent. This system may be a bit more elaborate and pricey. It looks like they have cheaper systems that are what you are looking for.

There is a thread in the NSW windsurf forum about a weather station in Gerroa. Its a different system so have a look there too.
