Everyone will have their own version of this:

Mine are but necessarily in this order as that changes with mood.

Metallica - One
Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven
The Doors - The End
Eric Clapton - Tears in Heaven
Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody
Pink Floyd - Wish you were here
Tool - Right In Two
Rollins Band - Another Life
Pearl Jam - Jeremy
Suicidal Tendencies - How will I laugh tomorrow.
Foo Fighters - Everlong

Actually I could go on for a while longer, that's 11.

What's yours? How many of mine do you hate? No doubt some of them are commercial, are you too cool to like anything that has been a commercial success?

Yeah I know. I don't even try to choose anymore.

I just think of one song and hit the genius button, Itunes sorts the rest for me. 25 songs later I hit it again.

Top 10 is tough CMC,

It's doing my head in.
In no particular order:
Pink Floyd - Us & them, wish you were here, uncomfortably numb.

Foo Fighters - my hero.

Kae Sanh

Pearl Jam - jeremy, alive.

Coldplay - yellow, clocks,

Billy Ray Cyrus - achy break heart

All along the watchtower

Evie, parts 1, 2 & 3

Sultans of swing (the very extended live version)

Sunday Bloody Sunday

Don't really agree Nirvana started a whole new Genre.

They were the first band to become well known but bands like Mudhoney, The Melvins and Sonic Youth to name a few were playing this kind of stuff well before them and influenced them.

It's a bit like saying The Living End started the Psychobilly thing when there were bands like the Fireballs playing it a long time before them.

That's why they are not on my top 10.

A lot of good songs mentioned above though. Hendrix Machine Gun is always a favourite of mine as well.

If I got right into it there would be some Hoodoo Gurus, Midnight Oil etc also but it is just a top 10 and it's always a subjective thing. Everyone has their own top 10!
