After looking at all those photos of Pozo , Tariffa etc I was a little alarmed that people weren't aware that they were endangering their lives by being in such close proximity to wind farms ![]()

Thanks goodness for the right minded people of Waubra.
So where would you like the nuclear power plants to go then? or is it NIMBY (Not In My Back Yard)
I'm sure the people of ****ushima would prefer wind power.
OK. Let's say for arguments sake that windfarms are causing
Yeah grumps takin the pith,
hangin around wind turbines hasn't affected me at all ![]()
They did an article about Waubra on triple Jay hack about it and I'm still laughing.
Mmm, Pozo, that's what wind looks like ![]()
Well the wind farms aren't working! We're still stuck with the same crap wind this winter as we got last winter! Maybe the production rate from these farms slows down over winter?
I'd be more cautious about the location of your meter board & electrical appliances in your home than a windtower in your backyard.![]()
I've lived under an airport flight path where everything on the shelves shook when planes went over and you had to wait for it to pass until continuing your conversation. bothered me for the first couple of days then, you get used to it.
I expect wind farms maybe different due to the constant nature of the noise, but if the wind is that strong, you wouldn't think you'd hear it unless you were right underneath them?
The only thing I have against windfarms and the like is the areas they are located usually have more expensive electricity.
MAYBE IF YA REALLY REALLY DRUNK YA CLIMB TO THE TOP AND PEE ON THE BUZZ BAR YOU GET A HEART ATTACK OR HYPERTESUN OR SUM FING
