Hi,

I'm planning to take a couple of weeks holiday in late November and was wondering about good locations for windsurfing where we can camp with the family (ages 5, 3, 1). Ideally needs to be within a 6 hours drive from Brisbane with windsurfing conditions like Victoria Point (nothing to extreme). Any suggestion would be great.

Thanks in advance

Paul

lake cootharaba would be a spot. elanda point or boreen point. my kids love the place, can't keep them out of the water. especially with the northerlies at that time of year.

Elliot heads is another spot but best suited to SE winds.

never been but going south Yamba should possibly be on the list as well.

Elliot Heads is gorgeous but Farnborough Beach at Yeppoon would probably be better for wind surfing that time of year.
