I don't get it? We know enough about aerodynamics. Why would you design something with a glide ratio of 2:1 other than having seen something like it in a Batman comic?? And then you've got to find a 2:1 hill to jump off. Why not extend the wing span 30 cm beyond finger tips for a glide ratio of 3:1? That would open up many more suitable hills. Or is that not allowed? What a random sport.
ive seen a couple of suits with small extensions but not 30cm. dont seem to make much difference. i guess the smaller the suit the faster you track as well and speed is part of the kick.
also its quite a new sport so give it time and there will be some amazing things to come i guess.

His glide slope might improve a little if he didn't have a great big set of brass balls weighing him down. I never really considered how much of a team effort it is either. Impressive.
