I've just had my annual review, and I got a 30% pay increase!
Maybe I will be better off with a Carbon price.
My company rocks, I get paid a fortune for talking crap and browsing the net all day.

His job is to check all news events for the possibilty/probability of a conspiracy.
So far this year he has detected a conspiracy or coverup in over 87% of news events.
The guy that did his job before him only managed a measly 1.5% conspiracy rate so he got the boot. 
That's sweet. 30% is a fair whack!
I start my new job in couple of weeks with 2 payrises written into my contract over the next 15 months. Working 12 hrs a week less and a RDO every fortnight for the same money. 
Lovin life!

Maybe you were getting massively jipped before and no your only getting jipped in a minor way.
Possibly they are part of a conspiracy to keep you in line.

Remember what you get paid is not only a measure of what you are worth to the company but could also be a measure of how dumb the people who pay are.

During one annual review I had the boss said to me, "Times are hard for the company, even though you have performed ok there is no money for pay rises and you will be lucky to get 2/5ths of sweet FA".
I told him "I'm not very happy with that and was expecting 3/4 of sweet FA!"
