Zillions of small ants, same with locusts, lots of general bugs, may just be that time of year for the bugs but definately over populated with ants and locusts

We have no Portuguese millipedes any more..as they went
with the 100 acres of woodland and all the 100's of tons of top soil
they took of off the land before subdividing..So they are now
bothering someone else..![]()
so they sold everybody on the idea of a bushland block then wiped it all out building the estate, then they truck in mulch and exotic trees and call it natural.
sounds like standard practice everywhere.
we too have a lack of pollinators, partcularly bees.
The local bee keepers were made to destry hives to help top the spread of a bee virus that may spread to WA, so there are hardly any bees.we have with the really dry summer alot of the trees put off flowering till there were decent rains.
hasnt been wet enough for a decent sized wolf spider or golden orb spider for a few years![]()
Lots of leeches.
On plus side it was a great way to freek my bosses PA. One morning just after getting to work I asked her for some salt and a band aid, she ask why.......and instantly regetted it![]()
