Cant wait to pay my Carbon Taxes, i heard the IPCC just invented a gauge and it will be able to tell whose actual carbon tax payment tips the scales to reverse climate change to "Stagnant Climate".

A bit like McDonalds gauging their 1 billionth customer the person whose taxes actually tips the scales gets free electricity for the rest of their lives.

Knowing my luck my Carbon tax payments will be going towards the removal of the Clean Power Generating Windmills on Kooragang Island that are making way for the 2 new coal loaders sending all our cheap coal off to China and India so they can all catch up with us and be able to aspire to afford a Mcmansion in a manufactured soulless suburb.

Because Australia is such a power broker in the scheme of things, the rest of the world will follow our lead like the Pied Piper, and then we all live happily ever after and live forever and ever in safe communities free of crime, where everyone on the road is responsible and obliging and there will never be another car crash or death and everyone will be happy 100% of the time oh yeah and 100% employment and everyone gets along and agrees with each other on everything, and all dangerous dog breeds turn into safe dog breeds and no more kids get bitten by dangerous dogs ever again..

The tax would have to go up then...imagine the job loss if that was 'the perfect world'?

Oh wow, carbon tax?
I thought all that was off the table now that incandesent light globes are being phased out. Didn't the Gov dictate that we were using too much coal because of the light globes. And now it's all fluros' the world is saved?
You mean my government lied.......shatered!
