Hey Wotzy - thankyou very much for the heads up , that was some very interesting bs.

My first thoughts were - as if , Ben lexen has the copyright on that keel.
Secondly I know the machinist that did most of the work on that keel in Perth.
WTF The guy that was attempting to "spill the beans" and claiming that it was his design has a nice Oz accent and had been living in Australia since the 1950's . He had never filed for citizenship until 1990. He just did the testing on the design in Europe.
Australians cheats? I dont think so - that is not who we are. We won that cup square and fair by out sailing the yanks in the last race. Poor Dennis conner - boohoo , you lost it Dennis , live with it !!!

..i was realy impressed how dennis went to every length to get the cup back with a special layer on the hull slowly wearing away to loose drag ..and his perfect timing with his crew absolutely increadable ..i recon new zealand are bad sports ..they would have wanted their boat replaced if it broke in half in the intrests of technology .a facter new zealand envies in australia .
