whilst working on an old house , Ive come across a set of australian dog tags,or meat tags as they called them .
from what weve found so far they are post 1906 and pre 1940.
when we try to find more info we run into dead ends and i was wondering if anybody has had any experience on finding out more details on the wearer
we know qiute alot about the history of the house, including when it was lifted from original town and moved.
but finding a set of tags in the wall puts a new twist on the house

sadly on those rolls , I think you had to get killed to get on them, whereas our man seems to have come home withhis in order to lose them between the walls.
at one point the house was owned by a brothel madam and used for the overflow business and "parties" so maybe our lad lost more than his tags as the army training base was only a kilometre away

Graham, Robert John,
born Kalgoorlie, 15 july 1912
enlisted Perth,
RAAF, NCO, or other ranks.

That all I could find with a quick search, any more needs official request (I think)

try the RAAF historical Society or similar. I was able to access and research

a deceased NSW police officer by this method, whole service record was available
