im heading to bali by myself in may for a month for a surf/relaxing holiday....
want to be close to good night life and surf...
never been there before and traveling alone so just after so advice if any...
things i need to be careful of worry about, must do's decent cheap hotels and that type of thing.. my brothers mate owns a great tattoo shop in kuta so id like to be close to there.

dont get into card game with friendly smiling local, you will win the first

few games and nights, then an invite to a set up game where you will make

dough, screwing some bloke at a private residence . Then the ultimate

game which is screwing you, only you don't know it.

I went three times last year, stayed on the edge of Legion and Kuta. About 5 minute walk from the beach, 2 minute walk from all the pubs and clubs. Awesome restaurants everywhere, good shopping for the local stuff in the area or the quality surf clothes/brands from Kuta square.

Every single night was just partying, so much fun. The surf over there in June/July is amazing as well.

Plenty of tours to do over there as well... white water rafting, paintball, waterskiing, motorbike riding in the mountains.

Spend lots a time at the ESSPRESSO BAR ,, live music and cool staff
