I think that the Cocburn council should maintain its woodman point beech kitesurf area as this beech is being widley used, theres alot of great surfers who go there and alot of people who walk dogs.

On a recent visit i found that the council had failed its people and comunity for not providing toilets and even a grassed area, not even a walkway of the rocks down to the beech?
Another dissapointing thing is the beech axcess to the north point. This area should be opened up for everyone.

I think compared to Rockingham and Mandurah Cockburn is way behind in the maintanence of its beeches in that paticular spot in comparrison to the number of people who use it.

I like the beech and there some pretty sick people who surf there.
Just seems to me like at the other spots ive surfed at the council had place toilets showers grassed areas picnic facilitys and ever walkways down to the beech.

Thank you for you email. I can confirm that Woodmans Point is not actually controlled by the City of Cockburn but actually the Department of Environment & Conservation and the contact person is Ryan Donnegan - Operations Officer - 0439 973 955, please call him in regard to your suggestions.

In that case im gona revise my plan.
I think i need to inculde a disney style theme park and a 18hole golfcourse.

You should go hit up the high rollers in that new estate they now own that area, they should be able to spot some cash for the upgrades....

Fantastic Pander, wouldn't you just love to build a log cabin there and veg out????

Now can you show as some psalm trees, I think they must have some sort of religious context.

Anyways just for subject closure.
This area is owned but the conservationists state goverment.
I dont understand why federal goverment is handing out cash ot people like us well not me...when all of its infastructure and assets are falling apart.

I believe that this is a classic example of what should not happen.
In my opinyon spending that money on developing infastructure would be a far better of advantage to a community than having its people purchace lcd tvs and supporting the overseas market. projects like these would create longterm jobs and give people skills it would intice tourists and promote growth.
From recent post we have heard of a gentlemen who is worried abut loosing his job to cheaper overseas manafacturing.(manafacture here else jobs dissapear)
If the goverment encourages spending in the retail sector being a relativly no-manafacturing country we wont benafit.
Where we will benifit is creating long term sollutions and ensuring infatstructure is well maintained not only for us but for animals and our eco system.

Decrepster, if you built a log cabin in that grove of trees, you would definately have to change your username to Gandalf

If you edit a previous post, it updates the time on the main screen, but not on the post itself. (does that make sense?)

All spelling aside (and it hurts me to ignore it), I don't think using 'google earth' and 'paint' enhance your reputation as a civil engineer. Nor will the supplied pic and email do anything but the opposite of what you're trying to do.

Could I suggest visiting the local council, getting a copy of their infrastructure plans, or strategic development docs (generally free to public) and use your 'civil engineering skills' to do a half-decent overlay including the information you've attempted to portray on the google earth pic, but with some form of professionalism. Even better would be to personally fund a feasibility study and include all consultants docs. This would have a better chance at being accepted by the local authorities...if all this seems too hard, and too expensive, let it go man, and stick to the spots that are set up for watersports and beachgoers...do you need the whole of the coastline developed and designed for public access?

Dear Jane, Are you sure this drawing of a spider is the one I sent you? This spider only has seven legs and I do not feel I would have made such an elementary mistake when I drew it.

Regards, David.

Hello, I am back and have read through your emails and accept that despite missing a leg, that drawing of a spider may indeed be the one I sent you. I realise with hindsight that it is possible you rejected the drawing of a spider due to this obvious limb ommission but did not point it out in an effort to avoid hurting my feelings. As such, I am sending you a revised drawing with the correct number of legs as full payment for any amount outstanding. I trust this will bring the matter to a conclusion.

Regards, David.

Dear David, As I have stated, we do not accept drawings in lei of money for accounts outstanding. We accept cheque, bank cheque, money order or cash. Please make a payment this week to avoid incurring any additional fees.

Yours sincerely, Jane Gilles

I understand and will definately make a payment this week if I remember. As you have not accepted my second drawing as payment, please return the drawing to me as soon as possible. It was silly of me to assume I could provide you with something of completely no value whatsoever, waste your time and then attach such a large amount to it.

Regards, David.
