ok, now I dont want to start an apple vs pc flame war, or an itunes vs media player vs winamp vs every other media player flame war either.
I have a simple problem.
I have a mac in one room with itunes on it.
I have a pc in another room with media player
they both have the same songs on them.
what I want to do is copy some playlists from the mac (itunes) over to the pc (media player).
the problem as far as I can see is that itunes will only save the playlist as xml or txt.
I cant seem to find a way of importing them into media player.
Can anyone give me a clue???
Why would you want to play them on media player? itunes is an easier interface and better for playlist setup imho... Download apple itunes onto your pc (free). I use a pc and have itunes playing in the background (except when full mem is required).
Other than that, there should be a way to convert audio files, if that's your question?![]()
Yeah, i dont want to convert the actual music files, they are already copied onto both computers.
I only want to copy the playlists.
Its not a massive hassle, I will just recreate the playlists.
The reason I want to copy them is because my Playstation 3 which is in another room again will only stream stuff from a DLNA server, which media player is.
You have to buy software to make Itunes on the mac do that same thing.
Plus I have other things like photos and movies on the PC that I also want to stream to the playstation 3.
When downloading Itunes, upon completion a message appears saying "windows found a problem with itunes setup.exe. ...unknown publisher, and the digital signature is not valid."
any body know a way around this?
cheers.
