Digging up the vege patch and found this vase? buried in the ground, the pictures on it seem to have a story about some wise old men discussing some sort of scrolls, it hasn't got any identification anywhere on it?, i have tried google but couldn't find anything there..
Any-one know anything about this sort of stuff or where i could find some info?
Thanks in advance.
Yikes that's just freakin me out, the top was already broken and it was full of sand, should i go bury it again, ![]()
It's a Ming Dynasty 5th Century vase worth around $50million .....................that or a worthless Target replica. ![]()
Doesn't look expensive to me - it would have a hallmark.
But WTF do i know?
I reckon someone has buried their relatives or animals ashes in the urn in the garden.
Are you sure it was sand............ check for paranormal phenomenom from tonite in your house!!!![}:)]![]()

I reckon bung it on ebay for $1000 with Buy It Now price of $5000
People will assume it is collectable old Chinese and some dope will buy it ![]()
i don't want to sell it, and it's broken anyway, just like to know some history of it, i don't think it's fake...and did people really bury their loved ones in a urn in the backyard?
Perhaps Chinese traders came down the west coast of Australia and traded the vase for something of value from the Aborigines? The Aborigines buried it where your backyard is today. Very excellent find.
I'm surprised you can grow those vegies in the sandy Perth soil.
Mobydisc..I'm north of Perth about 600ks, Maybe traders came past i'll see what i can find out, thanks.
And a lot of work went into getting the soil right ![]()
