I bought a 11 foot (3.25 m) sailboard with 2 split masts, boom and a sail plus some small gear in Sydney and need it transported from Sydney to Adelaide.

I would pay the petrol and provide the driver with food and accommodation for a few days here in a Southern beachside suburb of Adelaide.

You could also get a camelback full of rum and coke wait for a howling northerly and just go for it

That would be $500+, as per your offer.

Try Toll Logistics, or similar. You should get it done for roughly $250 with a company like that...

My seller gave me the final measurement which were smaller than I thought, parcel is 3.25 x 70 x 40.

I booked with transdirect and paid 186 bucks pick-up from seller and me picking up from their depot here.

Yep, pretty good deal. And yes, going to their depot saves a bit of money too, especially for the bigger packages.

A Single Packaged Malibu would be about $100 to $140. So $186 for the bigger bundle is pretty good.

PS - nice call on The Bundy Camel Back !!
