WTF is the go with all the media attention with the silly italian woman and her childeren. She brought them here illegally. Italian father cant follow, has no legal right of entry. She had no right to take them out of the country. She'd be bleating if he bundled them up and pissed off to some far flung country. Dosey cow.

You summed it up quite neatly.

I saw the footage this morning of the kids taken from the mum. First thing I thought was 'staged for the media' based on the camera location & the fact that the feds weren't using their own to isolate the media?

Without knowing a thing about the case...it seems to me as if the mum has some psych issues & needs some help. Either way, it's not right for the kids to go through that.

In my opinion, both parents should be taken aside & given a good talking to by Dr Phil!

the morning show chick (from 7) teared up commenting about it on sunrise this morning (what she would do if her kids were being taken etc).

This woman was on a segement called the couch. Why should we be privelliged to hear her social commentry when she is so mental she tears up commenting about a hypothetical situation. Stupid dosey Cows everywhere.

Probably for exactly the reasons you listed. It's going to end in tears no matter what happens. Either way the kids are victims of a deranged mum, a worldwide legal system and a possibly dodgey dad.

Right.

All that really matters here is the welfare of the kids. I'm sure they'd prefer to see Mum and Dad happy and cuddling in the garden but things didn't work out obviously. Probably gets complicated for them now as if Mum goes to Italy to be near the kids she will probably go to jail.

It wouldnt be for long though and if that's what's needed to see your kids worth the time. If I had a choice to spend time in jail or never see my daughter again it would not even be a decision. I'd climb the fence to get in.

old mate had to agree not to persue charges back in italy (although nothing to stop him I guess?, but I dont think legally he should have had to waive his right)

Sure the girls are hysterical but they are probably as dizzy as their mother, and probably get hysterical every time a justin bieber song comes out or someone dies on home and away.

At what point in a relationship breakdown do you go from seeing a person as a worthy parent to someone who should never see your children again. I've never been through it but I wuld like to hope that if my marriage went sour for whatever reason, access to the childeren would be treated with respect.

Apparently those with a Japanese ex that has run bact to Japan can expect to never see the kids again. No legal system interference there, the Jap government turns a blind eye to it.

I'm guessing that the court in Brisbane ordered that because it was in the best interests of the children. It leaves open the possibility of all of them being reunited again. I'm sure there would have been some discussion with the Italians.

ORDERS

Pursuant to paragraph 6 of the orders of the Honourable Justice Forrest made 4 May 2012 and in order to give effect to paragraph 1 of the orders made by Justice Forrest on 23 June 2011 as amended by the orders made by Justice Forrest on 24 June 2011:

And upon the giving of an undertaking to this Court by the father that he will withdraw any criminal complaint he has made to Italian authorities against the mother for her actions in wrongfully retaining their four children in Australia in 2010 and that he will not re-enliven any such complaint after the mother returns to Italy, if she does...

Both of them have used the kids as a bargaining chip so they are scum.

Agree with the sunrise show being crap, she's acting like the mum did nothing wrong and suddenly her kids are taken away.

I am not sure how the kids will take to the dad after all this,I cant see it being a nice happy family in Italy.Shame as i would have done the same if it happened to me ( may need a rethink now )

Now lets go after the illegal way that the kids were in Oz to start with.
Jail time for mummy I say.
And pay back and free entitlements you got while here

probably doesnt give a **** cause they're women...

but geez the dad will be in for a tough time when they are returned, everyone goes on about the kids welfare but the mother put them in the situation that endangered the well being. so IMO she deserves no sympathy.

yeh dont no details but just saw the footage of the young teenage girl kicking the pigs door in, then kicking and screaming as she is taken away because of a judgement.
dont really no the truth but on first take i would think both parents need a good punch in the head for putting them in this position.

Takes only one parent to screw with the kids heads, though it may be two of them in this case, I don't know.
Surely the antics of the kids mimic that of the mother...

(The pigs door in: precious! )

This is a really hard one to pick, sure the mother was wrong taking them out of the country, but the kids (brain washed maybe) don't want to be back with dad, lots of unanswered questions.

IMO take the kids back to Italy, put them in the care of a guardian, not dad, and let the mother and father fight for custody. Hopefully the truth will come out about all parties before the kids are returned to anyone.
