I would have punched the pilot out and gave him a pat on the back. What a moron if it was frieght - ok, but people no way.
I bet NTSB and FAA will take his wings. A+ pilot skills, F for not diverting.
insane piloting this... you'd say the air traffic control room would temporarily close the airport or divert the pilot to a different landing strip?
About the one in Hamburg:
Second landing trial was successful. Lufthansa spokesman said that many passengers have panicked, and were on the edge of crying.
