Anyone know any good (cheap) online websites for shoes?
No need to kick off the support local debate. Obviously i dont agree!
Are you runnin in them? if so you have to have good shoes.
I had cheap nikes and had he worst shin splins and sore feet. Got some decent asics and made all the difference.
And really you need to try them on. Then go buy them of eBay, mind you they will probably be Chinese ripoffs so it won't matter anyway.
Try wiggle, they do runners.
My missus whilst in Fuertventura last week bought Nike Free Run +3 for 70 euros from a shop. That's about $80AUD - they're $160AUD in Rebel! Fuerter isn't even a big shopping destination...
Sorry, not trying to cause a debate but geez we get ripped off here.
wiggle.co.uk
Do lots and lots of runners cheap. Only need to work out your size but in saying that they have a great return policy.
You find ebay quite fruitful in this regard. It also has different options of category wise, brand wise and etc.
Not your answer but.. Try your local shop's, I'm sure they need the business more than you realize. You pay a little more but you get to try before you buy and generally service with a smile. Paypal never thanks you![]()
Wiggle have been ORDERED to not sell ASICS to Australian customers!! I be got ASICS shoes off them previously but was informed of ASICS policy when trying to update! Bastardos they were heaps cheaper than our shops even jim Kidd
All other brands ok tho I assume
CRC (large online bicycle store) have very recently been ORDERED not to sell Oakley sunglasses to the Australian market.
for running shoes try www.stringersports.com.au
local shop, but online tend to have at least a couple models on special.
can get latest model kayano's anyhow at < $200.
wriggle...always cheaper than the shops...why the fudge should I support Rebel Sports anyways...how do the justify the 100% markup on shoes?
thanks for the responses all. Looks like wiggle is good and will remember in future for me, was chasing kids runners which none of them seem to do or if they do because they are cheaper anyway there's no advantage. thanks again.
p.s. what about GIANT or Specialised mountain bikes
