during the tour de france coverage on sbs
Is this a common bike riders problem or a more general problem related to a lack of late night soft porn on sbs ( and therefore a lack of motivational viewing)

I've noticed a lot more ads for premature ejaculation in the last 5 years too. Seems there's a lot of focus on too early as well as too late.

To answer the original question, I recall reading somewhere once that a proper scientific study had established a credible statistical link between cycling and damage 'down there'. Makes sense too..

Advertising is interesting, you tend to ignore adds that don't interest you and focus in the media on the ones that do. eg; if your after a new bed, children's clothes, baby stuff, white goods, car, solar panels, home improvements or anything else those adds tend to spark your attention on that subject.

So what were those adds you mentioned? ...... I haven't noticed them.

Yeah Pat's on to it. Incorrect seat adjustment or a lot of time on the bike can damage the nerves in your perineum (that's the general region between the anus and the genital organs). These are the nerves that go to your knob - so you can loose sensation.

You'll notice there are bike seats around that have a void in that area of the seat. Idea is that will reduce the damage.

If you're male and a regular cyclist, it's probably worth finding out how to avoid this damage.

Aaaah... the seat causes lack of manliness and no boners, then they wear all the lycra stuff.

It all makes sense now...

Yeah, I hope we are not going to see those adds for the 3 weeks of Le Tour !
But at least this time it's not 2 guys trying to play piano with their bits !

Well, this afternoon, we did a bit of gardening, raking some leaves...
