I hate the gardeners at the big house across the street, every three weeks or so the team arrives, they prune, they mow, they wipper snip and they blow. They blow all the cuttings away from their pristine clients house over the street to my house and that of the neighbors.
When confronted they stare blankly and react like its their right to blow.

Well I am of to the hardware to buy the biggest, meanest and most powerful of blowers, I will be ready next time, [ mind you I have better things to do..but..}
I will spring out from behind the fence ,blower in hand, laughing madly and out loud like a weird scientist, the biggest blow wars since Al Pacino in Scarface will begin.

yeh ok I know I have over dramatized the scenario, heh whatever happened to the broom?
that's what I hate, the blower is like the jetski of the suburban streets

it's technically illegal to leave any clippings on the road or footpaths isn't it? If you wanna be a dick about things save your money on the blower and just call the company they work for?

How did you even confront them?

I hated the moron over the road and round the corner who owned two yappers. Every time someone walked past the house they let everyone in the neighbourhood know. And they live outside a bus stop

I took to shouting at the farkers which had some effect but in the end I wrote a note telling them how ignorant it was and that I was going to take it further if they did not do something about it.

I had a win It stopped

^^ what he's not telling you is, he wrapped the note around a house brick and delivered it to the heads of the little yappy dogs...

What I did not tell you was that there were a number of big bungers launched in that direction Seemed a shame to punish the dogs for the owners lack of training though!

Ocka , you have now joined the brotherhood !!!!! All you need to do to become a fully fledged blower bomber is to get a tat on your bicep saying " if you blow one more leaf away from that house , I will rev it out and shove it up your............"

Fair dinkum , that was one thing that really pissed me off about the wealthy crew in Melbourne . And now It's every where .
As you say , get a straw broom and then pick up the crap !!!!!!!
It's not that hard !!!!!!

Talk about noise pollution !!!!!!!!

In the old days (which for me about 20 years ago) we would sweep the leaves, etc and put them into a bin, garbo bag. Genius, as the crap is removed from site.

Enter the lazy gardener of today who just blows the crap out of sight. Then the wind blows the crap back then the gardener is called to blow the crap away and the cycle goes round and round. Those blowers are the farkin noisiest piece of machinery on the planet.

Ock, get DJ over aswell, and a few of his Go Pro's. One for you, one for him, and one for the blower. Give the Go Pro's back to DJ, and let him edit up a short film !!

I think that is actually pretty typical of the "Bugger you jack, I'm alright" attitude of lots of people these days - where do they think the leaves go?, and why do they think other people should have them on their lawns/driveways?

Annoys me nearly as much as people driving past stopped traffic on a slip lane/merge - why do they think they should get home before me?

World's going to hell.

hahaha.

I have gardeners who maintain our place. Had em for about two years. I never see them as I'm at work, I believe a team of em come in every two weeks for an hour or so with heaps of loud gear. Got to say our garden in the burbs always looks spot on. Never gave a thought of how much they may piss others off. Which is a good thing, as those whiners should try working for a living. I sure hope they piss off the knob who lives on the left of me - If he could afford one he'd have a jetski - f'ckn knob sitting in his stupid Henley McMansion, that he'll never pay off.

Next time they come, I should tell them to blow all our crap to the left.

in my day... which is like now, I'd collect the grass cuttings and autumn leaves and pile them into a compost heap that i'd turn regularly (or let the chooks dig through) and let mulch itself for a year or so then i'd add it to the garden around the beginning of spring when it was time to plant the special smilely plant that would flower give or take 'round easter, but bud a few weeks earlier...

nice big icky sticky buds

In California blowers are illegal noise & air pollution .
That said my wife is very fussy with our lawn & she hand weeds it to keep it pristine & when the neighbor had an Indian in who blew all of it onto our lawn & the neighbors lawn is just a weed patch she went right off i think the words were to the effect if he ever does it again shes going to stick that blower up his black ass & then make him weed our lawn by hand. Then when i went out to find out what all the yelling was about she asked me to say something to him . I said shes serious mate bring a jar of vaseline if you do it again . Needless to say she also told the neighbor & it hasn't happened again.
There's never a dull moment around here that's for sure & i know that makes her sound like a bogen but shes not just very very fussy with the lawn & garden im not even allowed to mow which suits me fine i just have to whipper snip & dig .

sorry to be negative but I also hate the knob around the corner who had no control over his siberian husky and allowed it to attack my old ricky dog[ as pictured] I went to my dogs aid, found a washed up stick, hit the offending dog grabbed my dog walked away from the scene only to be confronted by this knob running up the beach with a lump of 4x2 threatening me, since then has verbally abused and tried to intimidate me on numerous occasions, this guy also walks ( struts/parades) his dog around the streets and beach whilst wearing his speedo's, he also parks his new silver mercedes's in the front of his house like its an advert for the car., a complete effyn tosser
