i got a 18m slingshot 180-not even sure what year it came out.it just taking up space.in brand new condition!!!makes great beach shelter.im just not staunch enough to pump it up!!

Those reports are about the southside of Woodies but there have been other issues over the years for the Jerviose Bay vicinity (as you would expect from a heavy industry area). I would be careful about any of the shell fish or bottom feeders in that area. We tend to go more on the Pt Peron side when crabbing or fishing.

Hunting and killing in the name of providing food for the table for the family is not a crime.
When spearfishing, I don't shoot it if I can't eat it. I let a beautiful 30 kilo Spanish Mack live to swim another day after I already had one in the esky over winter up north. It was a sitting duck, we just looked at each other and I lowered the gun. We both swam away happy, and I think it knew how lucky it was!
PS. Staunchy, that 18m Kite may have come in handy in the light wind days of course racing of a Wednesday arvie
