Hey my board has a
Bubble on the top of the deck on the nose. Just wondering what to do. It has not reached the rails yet and if it does I can imagine it will be game over then. Any tips or experiences would be great. Cheers
It's probably repairable but if you're the original owner, take it back to the shop and let them deal with it. Delamination, if not caused by maltreatment, is faulty workmanship.
2010......Warranty job. If a board delaminates under normal use it should be replaced. Without brand bashing/comparing, my twintip has a 3 year warranty and the 2 delams in Australia were replaced. My one issue in 2008 with a delamination was replaced straight away (underground). Boards tend to delaminate on the top rether than on the bottom due to the flex and therefore compression of the top layer against the wood layer.
... I had my board delaminate on the under side, the bottom pealed away til it got to the fins. A quick pic to my local dealer who sent it to Underground and they replaced it a.s.a.p!!! Big props to Underground, they were great and super fast.
cheers,
Robbie
Hey Jono,
had the same issue with a Jaime Pro 2010 - took it back and it was replaced - took a while though and I had to keep chasing it up. ![]()
I took my board to the shop, they took pics and emailed to North - let me keep the board until the replacement came in - so I got to use it.
The bubble didn't get any bigger but it didn't go away either.
New board's all good ![]()
