Heres the rest of the ad - gotta be just as funny as the pic.....

"Kite Surfing Equipment:
Beginners board, Prolimit harness, Toro10ft Kite black and white with a Bull on it plus 4 strings and bar . Kite comes in a back pack. Great condition. One repaired puncture to the kite and is still in perfect working order. We are up grading our gear." .

OMG those 10 foot Toro's were an awesome kite. Cant understand him wanting a new one really.
And all that for just $500.

& complete with 4 strings hey - must mean theres 3 spare ones

Sounds to me like someone is missing a bunch of stuff from their backshed!
Not that you'd be missing this stuff, but I seriously doubt that this guy is upgrading anything other than his getaway car
Allegedly...

I did notice that seabreeze surf shop in Safety Bay had a Naish AR2 for sale today, and the board next to it was from around the same era

Story in business section of The West today says 'old' - i.e 30 years-plus - surfboards are the new investment. Pprhaps this board and kite will be someones supannuation one day?
