Hey guys im currently in Brisbane, im looking to stay for 3 months on the beach where i can kite surf over the summer mid Nov - mid Feb. I'm willing to drive north or south, where do u guys think is the best spot to settle with good wind.

Probably the best wind would be Double Island Point if you can venture up that far. If kiting is your main goal for the summer then maybe you could pitch up in Rainbow Beach.
Otherwise either Sunny or Gold coast. Both are just as good as each other.
Brisbane isn't bad for flatwater but you have more options on the coasts.

I would say sunny coast is far better, location and wind wise. Also I find it a nicer place to hang out especially if there's no wind (nicer beaches, places to see, cable park, etc.). Obviously that's just my opinion and it's perhaps because I have never actually lived there.
