Keep an eye on this one. It is already a "severe " storm.

According to the models only the north Island of NZ might have to worry about ATU . Of more concern for WA ,according to the models is reforming Carlos ,

Not worried - excited - looks like 3-4m swell and 20k cross offshore winds for Thursday!

yeah right another cyclone formed of fiji atu, its cat 4 already and its big again, BUT \ ITS GOING SOUTH SOUTH EAST AWAY FROM NQ.

Looks like NZ's turn te get clobbered by a cyclone! I can't remember when that last happened, but we have had our fair share.

Actually only last month - cyclone Wilma caused a bit of flooding around Northland, not too much damage tho.

It did blow all the sand out of our local river mouth tho, no more flat water riding until they rebuild BUT that sand did become nice right wave which should go off when this storm comes past on Thursday...
