Quick thankyou to toddy ( I think ) and his m8 tuesday arvo . Breakdown =
chicken loop comes out, kite loops inside itself and over,so no chance of relaunching , getting ready 4 self rescue ,pass board over to be taken back 2 beach, kite relaunches with half my lines around the bar and rips the bar from my hand ( breaking my fourth finger into 3 yes THREE pieces ) which breaks the bar in to 2 pieces and rips the safety of my harness as well, get towed back into shore by toddy and then he goes back out to get my kite and board .
I will drop a carton of asap, got an op on sat morning to tie some wires around me little finger .

No Problem mate
PhilMb actually towed you in, and i got your kite and board, wasn't the only rescue of the day though.
The reason the kite powered up was you needed to wrap up your centre lines first (at least the length of the leading edge) before wrapping all the lines around the bar.
Rookie error but a painful one.
To the other guy who required a rescue at sunset, You might be able to jump, go upwind, ride toeside and everything else, But get a lesson and learn how to self rescue. It worrying when you tell someone to deflate the leading edge so they can wrap up their kite and you can tow it in, they say "whats the leading edge?"
If mates are gonna teach mates, teach them the safety stuff before they need it.

Pinnaroo Point Tuesday afternoon,
Riders dragged in 2
Kites dragged in 2
boards brought in 6

Ouch, that sucks big time. I hope you recover quick so that you can get back out on the water soon.

I also helped a mate yesterday at pinnaroo who lost his kite after his suicide leash broke. His kite was going out to sea faster than he could swim so i handed him over my kite so that he could chase it down. All good in the end :)

Gotta love the people at pinnas, there is always someone around to help :)

PS: Someone took my red ozone pump from the beach yesterday and didnt return it. If you ended up with it please return it to the AKS trailer - i need the special nozel for my ozone kites.

Thaks very much Shan. I reely appreciated that. Pinnas definatly the friendliest place to kite. Sorry had to rush to work. I owe you a few bears too.
