Hi all.Anyone had a keyhole appendictomy and what the recovery time back on the water is?doc saying 4 weeks,

Apparrently for an Addadictomy it makes keyhole a lot more difficult.....
MattC can probably advise as he was out performing after 2 weeks and hurting
Are you that desperate for a kite that you're prepared to risk your future health for an extra couple of sessions? If the doc says 4 weeks, I'm pretty sure there is a good reason why he is saying four weeks. They don't study for as long as they do just for kicks.
If you wanted advice on which kite to buy, would you come here, ask for advice and then go second guess it with your doctor and take his advice?
My 2 cents - bite the bullet, do your 4 weeks as the doc suggests. Its not worth the risk, you only have one body but you can have plenty of kite sessions next year
I had mine done by keyhole just 3 months ago.
Be very careful for at least 4 weeks. I went back a little too early and felt something let go. I still get a few niggles of pain now.
Also DONT lift anything heavy. It takes a long time to get the core strength back.
