What is the best wind direction for this spot? Does it crank on an easterly as per places east of this location. Thanks!

dont bother it sucks there and gets packed in summer, only room to dodge other kites,
Not recomended

I was there around Xmas/NY two years ago and I've gotta say you West Australians have a strange idea of the definition of "packed"

Just go, it's an awesome spot. And if there is no wind, just hit up a Winery instead

Just go, it's an awesome spot. And if there is no wind, just hit up a Winery instead

You wouldn't believe how packed it has become and this season is busier.
eg:10 or so years ago I had sandy bay to myself, as in not a single car would drive past all afternoon in summer. Now there is at least 6 kiters out most days and even more on long weekends

That's mad TurtleHunter......I remember one day last Christmas Hols and some guys left their second kite on the beach making it feel like there was 8 or 9 crew out......I get nervous just thinking about it

Yeh moons I gave it a miss today, body too sore man! Howd ya missus go up lano, Did ya go to back beach.

Dude the perfect place for her to get used to surf (without the peril of where we go if ya farq up) is...tell ya when I see ya, don't wanna piss off crew. But thought of her when I was out there, no probs if ya farq up, miles of beach.

YEP

everywhere else except the SW, lots of sharks here to, just read the pappers, no hospital that can cope with that sort of injury, soory to put a damper on it
I hear north perth thoruh to rockingham is awsome and easily accessable u should kite there

Pretty much had it to ourselves Sat and Sunday with no weed
