Let this be a lesson to anyone sending gear COD with Aust Post.
Had a 10m used Slingshot Ley for sale on seabreeze. A buyer contacted me and we agreed on a price. I sent the kite. Just got a call from Aust post to come and collect the kite. Turns out the buyer never collected it and now doesn't want it. I got slapped with a $71 return postage bill just to get the kite back + I'm going to have to fork out another $15 if I want a new add on seabreeze.
Lesson 1 - If selling gear via COD ask for a deposit $100 ish (postage cost x 2) to cover yourself incase the buyer stuffs you around.![]()
Lesson 2 - Don't sell gear to <personal details removed> unless she pays you first.![]()

I never COD.. Just organise the tracking number for registered post then ask for the cash to be transfered. works every time. thanks for the heads up though
Kitegirl21, geez that $15 could have been a down payment on a carton of beer. What's wrong with ya??![]()
^^^ Next time make sure you recieve payment prior to shipping
This is the only way to make sure the buyer is commited ![]()
