Recent heat wave in Perth has produced a massive run of repairs replacing unglued valves.
This can be totally avoided by making sure you dont leave your kit in the car when its hot & sunny.
Seems there are no brands immune. Be warned & be aware.

Seriously, been hit as well. I'm thinking would it be better to have an styrofoam box for a kite in it? Sealed with something?

i've insulated my Thule Roof Box and keep kites in there....hoping this does the trick....surely cooler than keeping in the shed??

Ive got a falcon ute and it has a hardlid which seals completely.
Ive found even on the hotest days its not overly hot in there, but inside the cabin its like an oven.
Must be the glass letting the sun through!
My condolences too you blokes over there, forecast looks good too
