Ryland he's the bloke that was having a winge about your movies quality when it came out a few months ago. Bloody hell you'd hope this video was good quality when they're shooting on a Red One. Worth more then everything I own

The point of the comment was that this is the sort of Quality of Film I am happy to spend my hard earned cash on. Not that your movie did not have some beautifully shot sequacious ( the Open sequence was really nicely shot as was the stuff in SA). I just felt it was padded out with some very mediocre footage.
Scoop you might be surprised the Reds have dropped in price a fair bit,a secong hand package about the same price as a top of the range Jet Ski.

If you watch Australian Tv You've seen some of my work.One example is the Brutt code TVc's playing at the cinema and on One HD. "Boardies over Buggies". Or Underbelly season 2 A tale of two titties... opps sorry cities. I've been a sound recordist/boom operators in Sydney for over 14 Years I can't list all the projects I've worked on
Thanx for the Challenge Ryland I might take you up on that. Most of the video's I've produced myself have only been for friends and are barley Youtube worthy. But there is a DOP with a Red One that owes me a Few favours.
He doesn't shoot kiting anymore to pay the bills. Sure he shoots a few frames of his kiting buddies from time to time. He just doesn't shoot kiting in a commerical sense. Def won't be any kiting feature released by ACL

The Canon 5D Mk2 is an awesome camera and gives a very Filmy look because of the sensor and the lenses. I work on a Music video recently where the DOP had a tilt shift lens on a 5D and that looked very sexy. All the Car stuff On Cops L.A.C. was shot on the canon and cut seamless with the Sony F23's/F35.But the 5D will not shot at high speed The 5D's And Go pro HD's (if properly graded) are the go for shooting sport. I think that is what they used on the Ozone catalyst video.
The operators is by far the most important part of the equation. Some of the ugliest Footage I've watched has been for a very experienced 16mm Cinematographer using a betacam for the first time.
