Hi guys just want to get peoples reactions of what kite sizes you like to boost big with!! Now i know it depends on weight, wind etc, but most of us have a quiver so we are caught in the situation of what kite to pump up , big to go big or small to muck about with a bit of freestyle etc, Just curious on people ideas!!

Provided you are powered up, you will boost higher on a smaller kite. As you can hold your edge for longer and turn the kite through the window quicker.

I like to go my 15m at the top of it's range (when you can still edge just before take off) I am a big bastard though

I can go higher on my 7m than my 10m, but the hag time is much less. The 7m allows me to edge better and move the kite quicker. When on my 10, i tend to lose my edge a bit in the strong wind and never get as high.

I think the general principle is smaller kite = higher air due to speed of kite.

I recon 9m and 8m kites go pretty huge and hang well in insane winds.
7m is good but will drop ya like a rock and definitely needs multi kite loops to land successfully

11m or 13m is better for board off stuff. They're good in 20-30 and these kite sizes don't loop without substantial bar input
